Second U.S. Cavalry, Company I Summer Cotillion
The Second US Cavalry, Company I will be hosting a Cotillion on August 6, 2005, social hour starting at 5PM, dinner at 6PM, Dancing from 7 to 10 PM with a break for a Lyceum at 8:15 PM. A baked ham dinner with all the fixings will be served. Location will be the Community Lutheran Church on Valley Parkway in Escondido. Tickets will be $30.00 Per Person, or $55.00 per couple. The Occasional Strings will provide music, and Tom Atkins will call. Except for a sit down dinner, the Cotillion will be a carbon copy of the Louisiana Tigers Spring Cotillion in Whittier. The ladies of the Second Cavalry enjoyed the Whittier Cotillion very much, missed it last year, and decided to have their own. All units and all civilians are invited. All are invited. Period dress, of course. We can easily handle up to 200 persons. The hall is two years old, convenient to the freeway, and plenty of parking.
